Antique French Silver Religious St Joseph and Infant of Prague Medal

Antique religious medal of St Joseph and the Infant of Prague. I did gently acid test the medal and it does test as high grade silver, 800 silver or better. The medal measures approximately 3/4ths of an inch tall. There is a French punch mark on the bail- I believe it is for the silver content but it is hard for me to make out what it is.

    The fact that it is antique makes it quite expensive and mostly for collection purposes but it was originally meant to give some sort of luck or blessings to the wearer which is still believed to do so these days. :)

    This is beautiful. And I guess its tarnish is quite a proof of its being antique. I wonder if where interested buyers could get this one.

Religious pocket saint of Saint Anthony with case- measures approximately 1 inch tall. In the case 1 & 1/8ths inches tall. This type of pocket shrine was often carried by soldiers in World War II and could actually be older. The case is brass but I am not sure what St Anthony is made of- he does not feel heavy enough to be lead. There is a bit more weight to lead pocket saints. This one is in really nice shape.
