1979 Pope John Paul II Commemorative USA Visit Religious Medal

Vintage- Pope John Paul II Commemorative USA Visit religious medal. The medal measures approximately 1 & 1/4ths of an inch tall including the bail and is marked pewter. The back of the medal says Commemorative Visit To The United States 1979.

Religious pocket saint of Saint Anthony with case- measures approximately 1 inch tall. In the case 1 & 1/8ths inches tall. This type of pocket shrine was often carried by soldiers in World War II and could actually be older. The case is brass but I am not sure what St Anthony is made of- he does not feel heavy enough to be lead. There is a bit more weight to lead pocket saints. This one is in really nice shape.
