Vintage French St Anne De Beaupre& St Christopher Heavy Detailed Religious Medal

A vintage St Anne De Beaupre religious medal marked France on the bail. The back is St Christopher. The medal measures approximately 1 & 5/16ths of an inch tall including the bail. This medal has a nice heavy weight to it and is quite lovely.

St Anne is the mother of the Virgin Mary and the patron saint of carpenters; childless people; equestrians; grandparents; homemakers/housewives; lace makers; lost articles; Detroit; miners; mothers; moving house; old-clothes dealers; poverty; pregnancy; seamstresses; stablemen; and sterility.

Religious pocket saint of Saint Anthony with case- measures approximately 1 inch tall. In the case 1 & 1/8ths inches tall. This type of pocket shrine was often carried by soldiers in World War II and could actually be older. The case is brass but I am not sure what St Anthony is made of- he does not feel heavy enough to be lead. There is a bit more weight to lead pocket saints. This one is in really nice shape.
