Vintage Religious Medals

Vintage caged miraculous medal pendant. It is marked sterling on the bottom of the cage and on the back of the miraculous medal. This medal measures approximately 1 inch tall including the bail. This is a rarer smaller sized caged miraculous medal. These are typically a bit bigger- so this is a treat in the smaller petite size.

A vintage St Anne De Beaupre religious medal marked France on the back. It is not marked for content but does acid test as high grade silver most likely sterling silver- also the bail seems to have some faded marks that may be punch marks (French silver hallmarks). The medal measures approximately 1 & 1/16ths of an inch tall including the bail. This medal is quite lovely. St Anne is the mother of the Virgin Mary and the patron saint of carpenters; childless people; equestrians; grandparents; homemakers/housewives; lace makers; lost articles; Detroit; miners; mothers; moving house; old-clothes dealers; poverty; pregnancy; seamstresses; stablemen; and sterility.
