Antique Aluminum Signed O Coracao de Maria medal O Heart of Mary O Sacred Heart of Jesus

Antique aluminum religious medal signed M. Langone on the back bottom. The front says O Coracao de Maria or O Heart of Mary. The back O Sacrado Coracao de Jesus or O Sacred Heart of Jesus. This medal measures approximately 1 & 1/2 inches tall with the bail.

Although we think of aluminum as cheap and plentiful because of aluminum cans- medals like these in their day were considered quite desirable and beautiful.

Religious pocket saint of Saint Anthony with case- measures approximately 1 inch tall. In the case 1 & 1/8ths inches tall. This type of pocket shrine was often carried by soldiers in World War II and could actually be older. The case is brass but I am not sure what St Anthony is made of- he does not feel heavy enough to be lead. There is a bit more weight to lead pocket saints. This one is in really nice shape.
