Old vintage, antique carved bone cross with stanhope. This cross probably dates from the 1920s to early 1930s. The cross has a little wear to the bottom as shown. The stanhope is intact- and shows the Grotto of Dickeyville Wisconsin. There is wear to the picture inside, but very much viewable. The stanhope is not flush with the cross... which I have seen before on these types of pieces.

A stanhope is a miniature or microscopic lens used in order to view a larger picture. Many stanhopes are set in charms or pendants.

Religious pocket saint of Saint Anthony with case- measures approximately 1 inch tall. In the case 1 & 1/8ths inches tall. This type of pocket shrine was often carried by soldiers in World War II and could actually be older. The case is brass but I am not sure what St Anthony is made of- he does not feel heavy enough to be lead. There is a bit more weight to lead pocket saints. This one is in really nice shape.
